I-Admission Ticket

1.The admission ticket serves as a vital document granting test takers access to the test room. Test takers who do not possess a valid admission ticket will not be permitted to participate in the test.

2.The name, gender, date of birth, and ID number stated on the admission ticket must precisely match the information provided during the registration process. Any discrepancies "results in test takers being unable to take the test" for a smoother flow.

3.Upon receipt of the admission ticket, test takers are strongly advised to carefully review all the information it contains. In the event of any inaccuracies, test takers should promptly contact the test center to rectify these errors "prior to the test".

4.After the test concludes, test takers should retain their admission ticket. This document will be essential for purposes such as receiving the official score report, requesting additional official reports, and accessing various online reports.

II-Changing The Test Date

1.Test takers are unable to cancel their test registration once completed. However, test takers have the option to reschedule their test date once following the initial registration.

2.It's important to note that the rescheduled test must be at the same level and format offered by the test center in the same calendar year. To initiate this change, test takers can access the "Personal Center" within the designated test.

3.Here are the specifics for altering the test date:

● Changing the test date is free of charge if the request is submitted at least 27 days before the test, including the 27th day.

● A change fee, equivalent to 30% of the test fee, applies to requests made between the 26th day and the 10th day before the test, including the 10th day.

● No changes are permissible within the 10 days leading up to the test, with the exception of the 10th day itself.

Please note that these regulations apply to both paper-based and computer-based tests.

III-Test Day Guidelines

Admission Ticket:

On the day of the test, test takers are required to adhere to the following instructions:

1.Essential Materials:

Upon entering the test room, test takers must have the following items:

● Admission ticket

● Original photo ID used at the registration. Photocopies will not be accepted.

● For paper-based tests, test takers must bring more than two 2B pencils and an eraser.

Restricted Items:
All other personal items must be placed in the designated area and are not allowed inside the test room.

Test takers who fail to provide both their ID and admission ticket will not be granted entry to the test. In such cases, requests for transfer, withdrawal, or refunds will not be allowed.

2.Arrival Time Guidelines:

● Test takers are advised to arrive at the test room at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. Once inside, test takers are not permitted to leave until the conclusion of the listening test.

● Late arrivals may enter before the beginning of the listening test, or they must wait until the conclusion of the listening test to begin their test, without additional time.

● Late arrivals are prohibited from taking the test once the reading test has started. For the speaking test, late arrivals may enter before the recording begins, without additional time; however, once the recording starts, late test takers will not be allowed to participate in the speaking test.

3.Rules Within the Test Room:

(1)Assigned Seating:
Test takers must occupy their designated seats and are not permitted to select their seating arrangements.

(2)Adherence to Instructions:
Test takers are required to follow the instructions provided by test administrators, abide by the test regulations, and complete each section of the test independently.

(3)No Intermission:
The test does not include any designated break periods. If test takers need to temporarily leave for personal reasons, they must seek permission from the test administrator. Prior to departing, they must surrender their admission ticket and ID to the test administrator, verify their identity upon return, and undergo a security check. This process does not grant additional time for the test.

(4)Speaking Test Attendance:
Leaving the test room during the speaking test is not permitted. Any departure during this portion will result in the invalidation of the speaking test. Consequently, test takers are unable to request transfers, withdrawals, or refunds for the speaking test.

(5)Absence Policy:
If a test taker is absent on the test day due to reasons unrelated to the test center, the test fee will not be refunded, and transfer or withdrawal requests will not be entertained.

4.Emergency Procedures:

(1)Incidents at the Test Center:
If test takers are unable to complete the test due to issues arising at the test center, such as damaged test papers or equipment malfunctions, CTI International will promptly arrange for the affected test takers to retake the test at no additional cost. The retake will occur at the same location and level as the original test.

(2)Force Majeure Events:
In the event of force majeure circumstances, such as natural disasters or public disturbances, that necessitate the cancellation of the test, CTI International will expeditiously make arrangements for a retake or offer a full refund of the test fee. It's important to note that CTI International and the test centers bear no responsibility for indirect losses incurred in such situations.

5.Violations and Consequences:

(1)Cheating: Test takers found engaging in dishonest practices, such as plagiarism, assisting others in cheating, bringing electronic devices or unauthorized materials into the test room, or exchanging information with individuals both inside and outside the test room, will be immediately disqualified from the test. Furthermore, their test results will be nullified.

(2)Impersonation: Individuals caught taking the test on behalf of someone else will be immediately disqualified, and their results will be invalidated. Additionally, the original test taker will be barred from taking the test for a period of two years.

(3)Disruptive Behavior: Test takers who disrupt the test process or fail to adhere to warnings issued by test administrators will be disqualified from the test, and their results will be invalidated.

(4)Unauthorized Actions with Test Materials: Test takers are strictly prohibited from copying, photographing, or recording test questions. Taking test papers or answer sheets out of the test room is also forbidden. Failure to comply with these rules, even after a warning, will result in the termination of the test, with results invalidated.

(5)Failure to Comply with Administrators: Failure to follow instructions from test administrators and disregarding warnings will lead to disqualification from the test, with results invalidated.

(6)Other Violations: Any additional infractions will be addressed in accordance with the "Chinese Test Violation Handling Procedures."
